K Lash Lift FAQs

  • The Korean lash lift is a glue-less method. The technique is a more gentle approach, no glue = less irritation. This lash treatment enhances the curl of natural lashes that lasts up to 6-8 weeks. Good bye lash curler and mascara!

  • You are reclined with your eyes closed during the whole service while I work on your lashes. It’s very relaxing and 80% of the time clients fall asleep. There’s a gentle tapping on the eyelid and the removal process feels like an eyeball massage. (So I’ve been told)

  • The whole service takes about 1-1.hr 30mins. Lashes that was thicker/resistant can take the whole 1hr 30min. Whereas finer lashes can take 1hr.

    That includes with a consultation, run down of the process, and treatment. It’s a great time to take a nap, listen to an audio book, or podcast.

    • Keep them dry for 6hrs.

    • Use a lash serum (optional) if you want more length to your lashes.

    • Use a lash leave in conditioner. I like: GrandeRepair leave-in conditioner nightly or Cosnori eyelash serum.

    • Rebook for another k lash lift as early as 8 weeks. Or 12 weeks, if that’s your jam.


    *Your lashes will shed like normal, but you may pay more attention to them, because your lashes are pretty. Lashes, like the hair on our scalp go through cycles: Anagen, Catagen, and Telogen.

  • Yes! There are many great options out there. I really like: Borboleta, GrandeLash, Latisse, or what I’m currently using, Cosnori.

    Or you can try the all natural route: castor oil or Vegamour

  • Yes and no. It’s like asking, “is flat ironing my hair bad?” Yes and no. It all depends on how you take care of your hair. No - heat protectant = bad. Yes -heat protectant = good.

    If you’re getting a lash lift every 6-8 weeks, curling your lashes, wearing waterproof mascara, rubbing your lashes, sleeping in mascara, wearing false lashes, etc. then that is a lot of stress on the lashes.

    If you take care of your lashes like using a leave in treatment, occasionally wear mascara, use a lash curler toward the 6-8 week mark, soak mascara off every night, gently rub your eyes then theres less stress on the lashes.
